NOTE: LHS IB MUN is open to all students of Laurel High School, however students must meet the following criteria in order to become a member of the organization.

• You must complete an application, in order for you to become a part of IB MUN (See 'Apply Now!' Page)
• You must have a strong interest, and desire to be part of this organization and  willingness to strive for academic excellence.
• If you are an IB Diploma Candidate or taking the HL IB World History (20th Century)/History the Americas course, then you are automatically enrolled as a participant.
• You must have some basic knowledge in World History, International Affairs, and/or Diplomacy.
• You must have the motivation and willingness to work hard.
• You must have some foundation in public speaking and debating skills as well as the ability to work as a team, which are essential for any success.
• Please note, that this is an academic activity NOT a club. You must dedicate yourself and demonstrate the willingness to work hard.
